Government program helps youth get back on track
Thirty-two students have received their high school diplomas this year thanks to an Ontario Public Service (OPS) education program.
 
“I’m pleased we’re giving more young people the chance to succeed,” said Ted McMeekin, Minister of Government Services.
 
The OPS Learn and Work Program helps young people aged 16-19 who want to complete their high school education and gain valuable co-op work experience through the OPS and its agencies. The program, currently available in four schools across the province, will expand next year. Read More...
